I was having a look at some items on sale on e-shops and I came across the Lovisa Dress DVN. Cute, right?!?
I remembered having seen, on an old issue of Glamour, a very simple tutorial to make a dress similar to this, and I found the video on YouTube that explained how to do :-)
In reality, to be precise, the video explains how to make a dress jersey (the jersey w!) Building broad skirt + blouse. To realize the full DVF can even use the tutorial of the skirt Sewing recovered a black T-shirt in the closet, making sure the width of the bottom of the t-shirt which must be equal to the width of the skirt :-), or get the dress making her blouse with the sleeves a little short, as in the diagram ...
ABOVE
Depending on the sleeves that you want to make marks on the fabric the width of the neck (1) and sleeve (2), then sew with a 1 and 2 with 2 as shown.
UNDER
Calculate the width of the skirt (1), fold the fabric in 2 (2), and sew up side (3). Finally, sew blouse with skirt (c + c) and voila, as you drew the sleeves, you get one of two dresses of the scheme.
Another "trick" that I often use it to quickly create a pattern (thanks to Adrian who taught me!), Is to take a t-shirt (1) - Okkio is not too short -, point to a sheet of paper / cardboard (I use the wrapping paper) (2) and with a pencil, mark the continuation sheet of the skirt (3) - help yourself with a ruler - so ...
Once produced the pattern (4) - remember to leave at least 1 cm on the sides to the seams and a couple of inches and hem for life, or you can put it to knit the fabric of your choice , and cut the skirt, which should then be sewn to your shirt. The length of the skirt depends on your taste :-)
can eventually enhance the skirt with trimmings and strips of fabric (also rip directly from a piece) to style a little 'lived' on the model, just like 'original :-)))
